More Photoshoot Action

Well today is the last day of my time off from 'work' as I mentioned in the last post I've taken several weeks off this summer to move house and take some time out but I squeezed in a photoshoot with model Amy Woodman.

So as I sit here enjoying the final few hours of my break I thought I'd share a few more images from this shoot. The top Amy is wearing in the first image was a 80s/90s Jaeger bargain from a charity shop - which I think proves that vintage doesn't have to be twee and can be very on trend if that's the look your after.

Photography/hair/mua - me
Gorgeousness - Amy Woodman

Despite the fact we took the above pictures on my bed, I didn't want these to feel boudoir. I'm not sure exactly where my direction in photographic style is going, but I know that I'm drawn to experimentation and a sprinkle of edge and I'm really excited with the images we made.

I decided that Amy looked so amazing in this top that she should have it. Like me, she has quite an eclectic fashion sense so I'm hoping she'll share some pictures of how she goes in to style this. Actually, Maybe I'll convince her to start her own blog.....

In the second image Amy is wearing a £5 (yes £5!) dress I bought from Jane Norman a while ago. It's fantastically 70s/90s in style in that brilliant way that eras often lend themselves to each other.

I'll share more images from this shoot and another soon but in the mean time you can follow my photography account on instagram and twitter for more sneak peeks. Amy is a very busy model who is great at sharing her adventures and behind the scenes too so pop over and see her instagram/twitter account to see how this lovely chameleon transforms.

Photoshoot Fun - A Sneaky peek

So August has been another crazy month. I find myself always saying that 'next month will be a bit calmer' and here I am at the end of August thinking 'well this has been a mad month'.

However, it's been good mad not bad. I've moved house which has made me have a bit of a life laundry possession wise - and yet before writing this I have just closed a door on a bedroom which has become a dumping ground for boxes yet to be unpacked because I just can't deal with how much 'stuff' I still have.....

When I moved out of home at 16 I had about a small suitcase of clothes and a few other bits and pieces, now 22 years on I seem to have a a million times that - and that's AFTER taking at least 3 car loads to the charity shop and giving a box of cloths and fabric to a local sewing group!

I've taken some time off over the summer to do the new house up which has had me delving in to the world of interior design, which I've really enjoyed, it's been like an amazing full time job and I've discovered some brilliant brands and businesses small and large which I'll share with you in housey type post at some point.

In the mean time I thought I'd share with you some sneaky peeks at a shoot I did with model Amy Woodman last week - these are straight off the back of the camera and I'll share some final edits soon.

I've been working with 35mm film a lot recently but I'm not planning on giving up digital and this shoot with Amy was a solely digital, but I do have plans to work these images with analogue as well as digitally, so I'm in for hours and hours and hours of fun...will those boxes EVER get unpacked I wonder...

And over on Amy's  (@legslikesyou) account she's posted these ones

More images coming soon!

Photoshoot Fun: The PinPin Finds Summer 2015 Collection

I was recently asked to shoot the summer 2015 jewellery collection for  PinPin Finds. Before I'd ever met designer Tazzy, I already owned two of her handmade necklaces, so as a fan of her work already this was an easy job to say yes too.

With a brief of 'colourful, relaxed and FUN' a small team was put together consisting of me (photography) Tazzy (designer & styling) and Kelly (model) and here's a few of the images we made together....

Behind the scenes there might have been a bit of singing dancing and a general laughter-thon.....

A video posted by Kerry (@missyvintage) on
Visit the PinPin Finds website to see more of the collection (it's FREE worldwide delivery too guys!)

Model Kelly is a fitness instructor with a passion for positive mental attitude, witness this over on her instagram account

Over on instagram, I've just changed my photography account name to my real name @kerrycurl and of course there's still plenty of' 'what lipstick I'm wearing today' action over on my @missyvintage account (although I don't own a cat or a baby/toddler so there aren't lots of those kind of pictures. Well the odd cat maybe...)
