Well it's been a busy year so far, I can't believe it's April already. As a new month arrives I always think this one will be a bit calmer than the last, but it seems there's always people to meet, adventures to have and plans to make.
When MOO.COM got in touch to ask if I'd like to share the MOO love with my readers and treat myself to some new cards too I was pretty excited. I've been on the MOO card love train for a while now and they're a company I happily recommend when people ask me for business and marketing advice.
The MOO site also offers some great business advice from SEO tips to Crowd Funding and pretty much everything in between. If you haven't taken a look at MOO.COM then now is the time. There's such a lot of choice when it comes to choosing your marketing material, design your own from scratch or use one of the many funky designs to create your own and it's easy. It's really easy! Even if you use a template you can create a set of business cards that are unique to you and memorable.
Do I need business cards you may be wondering? Well if you offer a service and want people to know about it then yes. If you're a blogger then yes, cards promoting your blog (and you) are really useful to! I began taking cards with me everywhere after I'd been blogging a while. They were such a great way to introduce myself when out and about at fairs and when I wanted to take pictures they proved (and still do) to be a great icebreaker.
They've also been really fast to deliver too. With standard delivery within the UK being 8 days, not weeks like some other websites and also worth pointing out - and this is one of the things I really really like about this company is that the pricing structure is crystal clear. You pick your cards, paper type, how many and what postage. Some business card sites seem to take you through loops when designing and before you know it, what started of as a bargain ends up as costing so much more than you were expecting. Frustrating to say the least.
I picked these polaroid style ones, a change of design from my previous cards and I'll be ordering more with different images soon too. My styling work has embraced a lot of fashion focused work over the last year which I'm loving alongside the more vintage inspired creations. I personalised my new cards with some photographs from a recent Norwich Fashion Week photo shoot I styled hair and makeup on (you can read more images from that shoot here)
