Hope you have all enjoyed Christmas, if like me you are now wondering what 2012 will bring then I can let you in a bit of news......  If  you've been reading my blog for a while then you will know that I've teamed up with fellow blogger Gemma of Retro Chick and Lucy of Glamourolgist to create The Historical Sauces. Fear not Missy Vintage is not disappearing, it's just that we all work together so well and had so many ideas that we decided to pool our resources and create something exciting and new that would also compliment our individual blogs. The pop up vintage reading room has gone down an absolute storm and it's been brilliant meeting some of you at these events. That's set to grow in 2012 and we've got bookings already which is fabulous indeed.

We will also be offering vintage glamour evenings and will be available to help get you vintaged up for your hen parties and special occasions. The Historical Sauces are all about helping you learn how to achieve that vintage look and that means helping you to create it yourself. So whether you fancy learning how to create victory rolls for a special occasion or you'd like to learn how to style your hair that way on a daily basis then we're here to offer you guidance on how to get a bit of vintage glamour in you life.

We are VERY excited to announce that we are proudly flying the flag for  faux vintage lingerie company  What Katie Did. We are simply over the moon to be stockists of their Lingerie and also of Besame cosmetics.  We're starting off with that all important item for your lingerie drawer and that is of course.... seamed stockings (don't worry we are stocking seamed tights too!)

We will also be stocking a capsule collection of Besame lipsticks - as shown in the picture at the top of the blog, these ooze glamour! Us sauces got together and had a good chat about what shades we could offer that would compliment all skin tones. We know (and love) our lipsticks so this was, as you can imagine a pretty fun part of the planning. We've come up with  three reds and a pink and these will be available at the  The Most Curious Wedding Fair event in February 2012 along with the stockings.

The pop up reading room will also be there too of course! Even if you're not a bride, if you're in Norwich when this is on it's set to be a great event with lots of interesting people and of course it's a good excuse to have some afternoon tea.

We've a few other things up the sleeves of our pussy bow blouses too, so watch out for more updates!

If you'd like to contact The Historical Sauces about vintage glamour evenings or hiring our reading room as part of your event or special occaions the feel free to contact us.
