Well it's Friday. Hooray! Friday's for me are precious, as it's only weekends that I get to see The Boy. Today should have gone a little like this......

However I have been struck down by the worst cold ever or perhaps it's flu? Either way, the date we planned tonight is off ! I am more than a little annoyed with my immune system right now. I just feel absolutely terrible. Being ill sucks.

I'm hoping to feel a bit better in the morning and hopefully less contagious as I don't want The Boy to catch it. At this rate he will have travelled miles so we can stand either side of the window and kiss through the glass! I'd like to say I am ill but still looking glam, cute and gorgeous like this.....

This evening I am a duvet Caterpillar. I was supposed to be fluttering like a social butterfly right now. The wine has been swapped for orange juice, my after dinner coffees will now be lemsips and my nightcap will be cough syrup!
Two weeks is a loooong time to go without a kiss!
Maybe kissing this way would be safer??........................

Poor you! tis the season unfortunatly. I have a lingering cough that makes me sound like a wheezing hag, so I can sympathise. If your immune system has done a bunk - have you tried suppliments. Namely echinacia? (thats spelt wrong.. i know it is..) You pop it for 2 weeks.. then have 2 weeks off and so on. Boosts your defenses a treat - and its natural :)

Ahhhh as soon as I started sneezing, I ran out and got a flu shot. Not sure if I was coming down with anything, but after the shot, I didn't.
Last time I had the flu I was so sick, I couldn't drive out for meds. It sucked!
So I hope you get well soon, meanwhile, if you have vintage mags and things to do in bed, spend some time trying to enjoy!
I love all these old perfect black and white moments but at the same time theres nothing wrong with a little bit of bridget jones - she still gets her man in the end :)

*lol* I totally know how you feel! My baby, my husband and I are all sick right now too. I've been downing o.j and peppermint tea and sitting in the steamy bathroom with my little one at all hours of the night. On the plus side, all of that steam is great for my skin! :)
